The Vision of Deaf Sports New Zealand is to

develop the numbers of Deaf and hard of hearing enjoying sport

Deaf Sports New Zealand has identified 4 key focus areas

1. Participation
   Encourage participation in sport at all ages

2. Competition
   Provide opportunities for Deaf and hard of hearing to compete in all levels of sport

3. Communication
   Maintain a high level of communication with our members, athletes and the wider community

4. Human Resources
   ​​​​​​​Processes are in place to ensure that Deaf Sports New Zealand is a well functioning organisation​​​​​​​
