Deaf Basketball New Zealand is only participating in 3×3 basketball as a team during the games – however thanks to Deaf Basketball Australia – our young basketballers will be participating in 5×5 as part of Victoria or Queensland basketball teams. Great way to build their skills and play some ball alongside some Goannas! Thanks again Deaf Basketball Australia

Philippa and Roger Strong
From Deaf Lawn Bowls NZ, these two are passionate lawn bowlers, having been overseas for the worlds in 2023, and recently competing in Bowls New Zealand Summerset Nationals, and now they’re off to Australia!
